This past weekend, I made some gelcoat repairs to my new seadoo. I was successful using many of the guidelines on this forum. Last night, I tried to finish off one of the spots with an electric sander/buffer to make it look "perfect". However, I discolored an adjacent area which appears to be a result of gelcoat burn (my guess??). The spot has a yellowish appearance instead of the glossy black original color. The spot isn't even the actual repair spot, but rather an adjacent area to the repair spot.
Question: What's the best way to get the color back to black?
Thanks.
PS Don't use electric sander for gelcoat repairs.
