Bought '04 RXP...learner key works, normal one doesnt.......ideas?

Hey guys,

I bought a nice 2004 RXP tonight.

I test rode it, but we could only get the ski to start with the learner key.

When I would put the normal key (dess) in, nothing.

Owner/seller says he didn't mix up any dess's from another ski......any ideas?

Take it to your local dealer and have him reprogram the normal key again. That should get it to work. Before you do that check to make sure there isn't any debris preventing it to seat on the post.

As long as the key is clean and making contact, then it is as noted above, just a matter of re-programming it..

Oops, I suppose I should tell what they did, sorry.

I was the dess thingy.....new key, reprogram, put a new "pin" in my throttle block, $87 later Im brand new!

That seems easy and cheap enough.
