New member....I was changing drive oil and noticed that the vent and fill plugs do not have the blue rubber gaskets mentioned for changing the drive oil. Does anyone know where I can order them or is there an acceptable alternative seal/gasket?
You can probably get them from your local Mercury dealer, I think their the same for outboards and stern drives. The price is like .75 not hardly worth ordering.
When I changed my drive oil last year, they included them for free, you should be able to get them at any Merc dealer, I don't believe they are specific.
