Question for you guys, why is it that seadoo mounts their bailer lines all the way at the top then run them down again, could I just shorten the lines and hook them right to the pump inputs?

if they were straight-connected water would rush in while not running in the water.

You could if you want to sink, lol. That is a 'riser' and it keeps water from just running right in.

Don't forget the two O-rings between the pump and nozzles either or it will fill the hull with water instead of drawing it out.

The 90 degree fittings at the top are vented. This must be part of what makes there design work so good. I wouldn't mess with it.

Matt, I'm going to leave it as seadoo had it, but what are the vents you speak of? I inspected the 90 degree elbow and didn't see anything..

I missed it also when I used one of those elbows for cooling lines once. Finally riding with the seat off I could see where that water was coming from lol.

Took some time last night to build another stand that I've desperately needed for awhile (yes I've been doing this resto on a trailer up til now lol)
Thanks Bnelson for the plans, I made a few slight tweaks and this is what I got:

This baby is solid and simple! I used two 8ft 4x4s and one 8ft 2x4, some hardware, 4 casters, and a tube of liquid nails. I still need to lay some carpet on the bunks tonight as well.

Here's my other one I threw together last year, this ones higher and the nice thing is I made it exactly the same height as my trailer bunks for easy unloading and loading:

That looks good man! Glad I could be of a little assistance... That stand looks solid enough to rest a car on lol... You'll have to let me know how it feels to work with a ski on that, I'm not very tall either lol, I doubled up my 4x4 on the runners but if I could get away with doing it like yours that's what I'm gonna do, save a little $$.... I need to build another as well... Here's mine if anybody else wanted some more pics

I would add some cross supports on that one. In would hate to see that ski sit on there and then split those 2x4s and fall right thru to the ground like breaking a wishbone .

Yup theres braces on there, I just snapped that pic before it was 100% complete, I definetly think it would have collapsed if i left it the way its pictured above lololol

I added 3 braces, one between each pair, and shes been solid so far

Well I've been slacking with updates on here, I've had a handful of other things going on but I've been working on it here an there and I'm very anxious to get it in the water by beginning of may is my goal!! Here's a little teaser of the outside progress, about %70 percent done, still gotta do more graphics, install the side vents, actually mount the hood (just sitting in place), finish shining up the rub rails, mount my bilge switch and depth finder etc..a lot of the big stuff is outta the way but there's still plenty more to get done. It's all fun to me and I don't mind
And there's just so many sweet resto's being done on this forum right now and I'm diggin' it!
