Thanks bro. Well I'm going to start to tear into it tonite. Given Matt Braley 's assessment, is there anything I should spray on the head bolts first before trying to take them out, or is it pointless because the head of the bolt is supposed to sit flush on the head by design? Or should I apply some heat first?

Once you get a turn out of it you can spray a little in the crack and let it sit. I don't think heat is gonna help much at this stage. Good luck, I hope I'm wrong. When you get those head and exhaust manifold bolts out your golden.

Well the good news is, if the motor really was recently rebuilt when I got it, that's only 4 years worth of accumulation.. Yea I know that's like an eternity when dealing with salt water, but, better than 19 years worth of crustification..

Ok, well, I come bearing gifts... I'll give you a hint.. It's usually brown but in the case of a seadoo, it's not.. It gets stinkier and nastier the longer you wait to change it.. And NO Seadoobuddy , it's NOT A DIAPER!

So I went to go pull the head off tonight and walahh... Hull full of my beautiful purple oil[emoji35] .. Checked feed and return lines that I kept with the tank for the rotary valve.. So.. Does this point to blown crank seals? Didn't leak from when the motor blew Sunday at around 1pm till after I closed it up at around 4pm on Sunday.. Thoughts?

Only asking because just as Braley suspected, those head bolts are NOT turning..

Hahahahahaahh 1of500 yes that's usually the stinky stuff, but I'll give you an A+ for having the right answer if this was any other situation

If I can't get these head bolts out AND the bottom end is toast it may make more sense for me to go SBT reman.. How else do I get them out?

Get those Phillips head screws out of there and put some rivets in

So, I got ALL of the head bolts out EXCEPT ONE. It broke flush with the head.. What are my options?

One of my cousins lives in Clearwater but I like the Sarasota area better

Yea the beaches/water are nicer/clearer over here, although that place is called "Clearwater"... We cover both sarasota and manatee counties at my fire department, we're on the border. But then YOULL be the one with salty cases ... The cost of living in paradise my friend

Honestly I probably wouldn't put my RXX or the 95xp800 in salt period. Not even brackish.

Now the hx I think would be a fun surf ski if you can stay on it

And, at this point I'm just curious to get into this top end, so BESIDES shipping the whole thing out, or before I do that, what would one of you guys do to get this ONE head bolt out? Would an easy out work? Should I drill it out? I haven't taken all the other bolts out yet, I just got them loose.. Do these bolts thread in down lower so this head will just pop off since the bolt head is broken off, or is it threaded into the head?
