Hello all, need some advice here.Found two options one is a 1996 speedster with duel 85's very nice shape from the pics as well as both engines and carbs were rebuilt by a shop.Prob more then enough power but twice the fuel and maintenance.
Even the paint on the engines is mint. The seats from what i can tell need a little repair but thats all.

Next is a 1997 challenger with a single 110.Again very nice shape but just curious if the 110 is enough to still pull a tube. Both are around the $6000 mark.

Thanks again in advance for your input.

saskatoon

if that city is in the states, then at those prices, i'd keep looking. Way too much, man....atmost, 3500, in awesome/mint condition

in the states... if they are mint... $4k... but probably closer to $3k.

Anyway... it's up to you. I run a single 720 engine (85hp) and I pull a tube, or a wake board without any issues.

The twin is nice because of the HP and the two pumps gives great acceleration. But... it burns twice the fuel.

The Challenger is nice because it has an extra seat facing back, and a manual trim system.

If they were the same price... it is a hard choice. I like the Challenger... but since the engines are new in the Speedster... I would probably go that direction.

Forgot to mention i'm in canada. These boats are a lot harder to find out here.Prices seem to be higher as well but what can you do.

On another note found out the 96 engines are actually just done...as in 2-3 hours on them. The 97 i found out has 71 original hours on it.

Thanks again for the replies.
