Hello everyone I bought a 98 gsx limited a year or so ago fully dismantled and have since rebuilt the ski. During this rebuild I decided to remove the oil pump and block it off and run premix. I have ran it on a hose to test the engine for a bit of an extended period and was all okay. I then filled up the tank with fuel and added oil to the fuel. I then drove the ski home and went to start it 2 days later and it failed to start so I double checked the charge of the battery, then plugged it in, still wouldn’t start. It sounded like the starter solenoid was just clicking off so I replaced that. Next I checked the starter motor and that was working all okay. I then rotated the engine by hand and it knocked and would only rotate 1/4 turn in each direction. Following this I decided to strip the engine and found the Conrod at the pro end had bent itself and the crank case was full to the brim with fuel. I don’t know what has caused this as new seals were put in the carbs has anyone got any ideas or experienced anything similar cheers.
