Hey guys I have a 93 seadoo xp that has a 720cc won't start it just wants to backfire threw the carb sounds strong turning over have 150 psi on both cylinders have spark getting fuel clean gas all fuses are good rotory valve is in time flywheel key is alittle worn but not play or anything just can't figure it out carbs are tuned right also

Sounds to me like that rotary valve disc timing needs to be rechecked.

Shop manual indicates the 93 XP has 657 engine, check model number (should be white tag on rear of seat pedestal) or last 2 digits of HIN are model year.

1 picture shows gray fuel line. Many threads here on the gray Tempo fuel line, bottom line is to replace the fuel lines with standard auto fuel line, clean out the entire fuel delivery system, clean or rebuild the carbs (new fuel causes degradation of the Tempo fuel lines which in turn cruds up the entire fuel system). Crudded up fuel system typically results in lean running which will kill the engine, sometimes in a rather dramatic fashion.
