I just rebuilt my top end and noticed that the oil injector cable adjustment was all the way out are. Is their a mark to line up telling me where the oil injector wheel should be?

yep. there is a mark on the arm... and a mark on the body.

Make sure the arm and cable are in the right position (you can flip them by mistake) and then once the idle is set... adjust the cable so the marks line up.

Well, not the best pics. But in the first and last pics you can see the lines that should be aligned to each other. In the first look down between the 2 oil lines first you see the bleed screw then the post with the line thru it....in the last look at where the paint is missing and you can see a line . you match those 2 lines up.

MODS: I went to delete this post but I couldn't erase the pics...so I wrote an explanation instead. but can we delete pics, if so How?

The position changes when you adjust the idle, so you have to make any adjustments to the idle before aligning the pump

Yep. make sure the idle is correct first. Then adjust the pump. The engine doesn't have to be running to adjust the oil pump.

here is a couple of pics to align it

Nice pics.

Nickj718: You can see the marks (in red) on his first pic.

Yes I see them I adjusted it last night. After adjusting it I was looking around the forums and say another person talking about this but the way it was described I thought he had to adjust it while idling. My idle was fine to begin with just a bit oil rich. I also adjusted me low speed settings to 1 instead of the 1 1/2 it was set to. I took it out on the weekend to break in my new cylinders and pistons from full bore and found that at the half throttle it was a bit hesitant and could just smell the fuel. I did end up getting my break in done and have adjusted the low speed and oil for my weekend trip to Wisco this weekend. So hopeful it will be great. Thank you for your help everyone.

dr.honda- Did you see my project post? I finished it and have done the stencils from you. It turned out great thank you very much sir.
