Nice! Mine seemed bad but not that bad.. What made you want to change that again? Were you replacing parts or was it so binded that the driveshaft wouldn't spin?
The key to getting stuck collars off the driveshaft is to get them to spin first. Just lock the driveshaft from spinning, and grab the collar with vise grips and work it until it spins, then you can spin it and push it back. It will put some marks in the collar but normally still usable. Never had to cut one yet and have seen some that were nearly fused together by rust from the driveshaft, yours didn't look too bad, which is why I hate saltwater machines.
Just so you guys know, especially guys with 951 motors with carbs and accel pump... That little check valve is called an umbrella check valve and I got one for a Holley carb from a carb rebuilder.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
