2001 SeaDoo GTX DI - Starting Problem - just a click from the black box

Hello... I just got a 01 GTX DI from a friend, he couldn't start it. New battery, put key on and get 2 beeps, then push start button and get a click from the black box by the battery. Any ideas? Inside the black box (sorry, don't know what that's called) there's some rust pieces... but all connections are on.

Starter selenoid. Try cleaning it up first and if it still clicks jump the posts with a screwdriver and if it turns over then the selenoid is bad.

A little more digging. The click comes from one of the two ignition coils. Only one. I switched them and still same one. Which is the lower mounted one. I tried jumping the posts on the starter and it did the same thing. Same click in the coil.
