Hello,
I am new to the Seadoo and PWC's and any input will help.

I just bought a 2000 Seadoo GTX RFI, in very good conditions, but it is not running - at least I don't know how to start it.
The ski has a brand new motor SBT ( 3.8 hours- some premix it is still in the tank after the brake in).
Brand new battery installed.
The ski has been in the storage for the last 5+ years.

When I connect the lanyard, it beeps once, the gauges light up briefly for one second, then everything shouts down.
If I press START with the lanyard plugged, the above scenario repeats.

If I disconnect the lanyard, and then I press START, the ski will beep once, then I can navigate the menu.
No electronics seem to wake up, no buzzing, no fuel pump noise

Please advise me on what to do in order to have it running.
Thank you

I'm surprised no one responded to your post....I didn't see it myself.

One beep typically indicates the ski doesn't recognize your lanyard...as NOW you know you got the wrong key initially. All's well that ends well.
