97 xp not starting

Can't start seadoo 1997 xp

I can jump solenoid and it cranks

2 short beeps when lanyard on post

I push start/stop 5x..1 short 1 long beep. I know I'm in diagnostic, add lanyard no beeps.

12.7 on battery side of solenoid

Yellow/red wire coming to solenoid has 11.5v when start/stop pushed.

Swapped solenoid with known working one

Ran new ground to starter

Anything else I can check? Much appreciated

Try shorting across top of start solenoid to see if starter cranks. If not then suspect starter or cables/connections to it.

what is voltage on the starter side of solenoid when start button pushed?

Nothing 0v

There is a black ground wire that goes from the base of the solenoid to a bolt that is on the base of the ignition coil that has 4 black ground wires attached to it. Remove the bolt, clean it up and the clean all the connectors that go on it and reassemble it. Check with an ohmmeter that you have continuity from that bolt to battery or engine ground. It is a common problem for that bolt and connections to corrode from moisture.

Cleaned and same issue. Is a 11.5v from start/stop button too low to close solenoid?

Wiggled the connector going to solenoid, and she started. Thanks again
