I have a 2000 GTX Jet pump that the seal seems welded to the pump. Can't get the thing to remove from the pump and I've tried everything.

Anyone have a suggestion instead of buying a $400 pump?

Wow I went and bought a "seal" remover,,,kit,,has 2 sizes,,worked like a charm,,,i used to go in from the other end with very narrow chisels,,,problem being that sometimes i would catch the edge of the bearing.or..get a dremel tool,..and try to cut some of it,,,its stainless steel,,,so won't be easy,,,

Got a suggestion to use a die tool and grind it out, but doesn't look like I can do that without damaging everything else on it. Gave up and found a used brass one from a 1999 GSX. Going rebuild that instead...
