1998 seadoo speedster 16.6Ft

Hey boys,

New here, and just baught a 98 Seadoo Speedster With Twin 110Hp Engines

Im a total newb and have to ask a few questions..

Is this thing considerd a boat or a PWC? As the lake I wanna take it to in a national park does not alow PWC's. I know there is diff regulations depending where you live, I live in Saskatchewan.

And now this thing did not come with a manual, and have no idea what to do for oil.

Do I mix the gas and oil or is it seperate? Haha no idea here.

And is there anywhere I can get a cover for it?

It's a boat, and you will get more responses if you post in the boat section.

As long as the previous owner didn't change things... there is an oil tank, and an oil injection system. So, no mixing of oil is needed.

DO NOT USE TC-w3 OILS IN YOUR BOAT!!!! Seadoo has some very specific requirements, and needs a 2-stroke oil that has the API-TC rating.

How is my post not helpful. I am telling you how to get the manual. You pulled up a thread from over a year ago. Both people who posted in it have one post each, this exact thread, so I seriously doubt they will be very much help to you.

To get the manual for $11, goto the top of the screen and click on premium. Sign up to be a member for 1 month as premium. Then you can download all the manuals. Or go pay $100 for the shop manual. Heck I will sell ya the full shop manual I have for $50.

This is also in the boat section now. I am guessind a moderator moved it to the appropriate area. When you are on the home page, as you scroll down, you will see sections, 1 for PWC (jet skis) and anotehr area for boats. Post boat stuff in the boat area. A lot of memebrs only own 1 or the other, so they may not even take the time to read the other sections. Posting in the correct area will help you more.
