1997 XP HULL Transplant ??

Hey guys,
I have just purchased a XP with a damaged hull (underside) My question is do any other models use the same bottom half of the hull?? Any help here would be greatly appreciated as there are very few XP hulls around N.Z

The 97XP was a one year wonder, XP's to follow were 951's and used a different engine mount, and the XP's before the 97 were a different hull. So the short answer is no. Or at least not without a lot of fiiberglas work to relocate the engine mounts.

agree, it could be done, but it wouldn't be a bolt in...
if you were anywhere but NZ i'd say just keep an eye out for another 97, there are two for sale in my town for under $500 and they include a lot of misc parts... so here in the states they are readily available...and very reasonable.

how bad is the damage to the hull ? maybe you can repair it...
