The Delivery Specialist called me, it went to the body shop Thursday to get prepped, so looks like Thursday the 19th I may take delivery. I've been waiting for a Model X now since 2012! so I finally annoyed all my friends/family enough that they said put up or shut up... so I got a used Model S to hold me over... which I'll promptly trade in for the X in 2 years or so...

Yes HX seat. Stock xpl seat and shock weighed in yesterday at 36.4 lbs. Hx seat and support weigh in at 9 lbs. Duplicating my decade old floating seat

worked really well. My WF conditioning not so good. Finished 5th after holeshot in main event.

Hrs? Likely nearing a hundred. And 300 in research and mental engineering. No where near my hours at 1000 plus on wakeboard tower. Im lucky enough to have kids and employees doing half of work. Overwhelming project for individual with out supporting cast. Lots of freebies and trade out work. Engineering is most taxing with "previous documented" builds for reference.

Frustrated temporary distraction . Having spent $5k on Jr's turbo motor ( 316 rwhp) , it would seem Johnny law diagrees with his driving habits. Really wish I could fit this 9500 rpm monster in my XPL. Sorry guys...just venting.

Buying him a bus pass! Holding pattern here on XPL waiting for more fabric. I really need to think through structural support and anchor points since Im cutting out " dog house hatch" in center of boat. Got my other project back from paint so we spent 10 hrs assembling.

Lol. Your welcome anytime Ohio! But I think Jr. has nailed "crash test dummy " status. Red runs hard! 4 min run and Im still sore. 67mph range. Pulls fricking race boat hard for a stock mtr and handles really aggressive. Extended rxx mag pump and 15 degree ( experimental kick on sponson angle makes this thing a rocket. Posted on utube under seadoodoc. Anyone posting video wud be greatly appreciated. Backfiring issue on warm start up has been a crazy violent experience. So hard...the water box is flexed out noticably. Couplers toasted. Radical 787 msd enhancer ignition needs some tweaking. Lost interest in this project and gave it to jr. Back to xpl!
