b bummed out on project .. my smokin deal on 2007 wake edition 215 hp with sub 2 hrs for $1K appears to have wasted block and crank. Spun bearing on crank and rod on center cylinder. Cases have pretty good 2 to 3mm wacked out. Line bore and oversized bearings exist? Sleeves and pistons, head, are mint. FML. Lol. Fixable ???or new block.

$1k!

they had made repairs. Weird seeing an 8yr old SD with 1.5 hrs. Mint condition on parts. Funny that guy paid $599 extra for premium service package. Well that just never got used. Paid 1200 bucks to flush oil system.. that didnt work. Lol. His loss my gain. Now Im looking for new block.

So I was excited to get my mountain bike shock for HX seat mod. This is what I got from China for 12 bucks. Just laughed. Shock for what? Monkey mini mountain bike?

China! When they aren't killing babies with poison formula, dogs with poison food, children with lead painted toys, or people with asbestos flooring.... No I guess all that killing keeps them fairly busy.

Cool thing is would reduce hood weight by 20 lbs. Well thats another project. Working on motor assembly. Seems like my projects slow down waiting for other people.

this motor is giant car sized when fully assembled. I have to give serious kudos to previous builders making this project happen while top deck still attached. Seems undoable. I pulled off top deck 10 times for grinding and cutting " side portholes" . Intake side is a breeze. Exhaust side is a futher mucker.

just dedicated to side portholes to be assymetrical. Got a plan for some cool cover panels on sides via car stereo molded carbon fiber.

wow

That looks KrAzY....

I did manage to finally black out my wheels (plasti-dip) (whole car once it's warm out)...

So... here she is!

got hx seat bracketed in. Little concerned about weight. Have a large majority of parts in boat and its only tipping scales at 295lbs, with no tank or fuel. Concern is rear weighs 20% more than rear. XPL needs to be nose heavy to handle well.

Thanks Adam. I get frustrated at slow progress, but I myself I only started with just an XPL mold 90 days ago. We had a bit of a laugh last night in observation of the only piece on this project thats OEM XPL components is the hood ride, plate, and intake grate! Should have called this build " Junkyard Dog" . Lol ... Back to work today on some Budwesier mental engineering for engine placement. Shifting engine forward may solve COG issues and will really help solve exhaust clearance problems.
