WSM 951 Pump water exit piece fit problem

Finally put away other things and start putting new WSM pump on the boat.
Noticed that the water exit piece doesn't fit the pump housing. It fits on the original brass pump.
I had to cut set some plastic to make it fit.
Not a big deal.

Yeah! Ready to summerize the boat!

It is more than the fit. The alignment is off too. As shown in the photo, the center of the holes are off by 0.1".
But I guess this is only a pair of water outlets, so doesn't matter too much?
