Which sea doo model is this?

New to sea doos and trying to figure out what going on.
I bought what I thought were 2 1993 SP sea doos.
well looking further one has a purple muffler, twin carbs and a different handle bar setup. How would one go about identifying what model it is?
I’m thinking it was some type of motor swap?

Look at the black tag on the engine if it is still there. The tag should be on top of the mag at the front of the engine.

Unfortunately the tag is gone on that motor.

Yes. Looks like someone put a 720 in it as those only came from the factory with a 580. Make sure you put the air box and carb brace on it before taking it out.

That carrier bearing looks awful close to the pto boot

When you take it out please let us know how it handles and the top speed. I am curious as I have a 720 I might end up putting in a 91 xp hull.

Currently doesn’t run. Trying to figure out how to fix it. Has a extremely high idle. I’m thinking verb rebuild and fuel line replace

that engine is so tiny it looks like a little model. lol
