yheap its hit
so yea something did hit it but WHAT and WHY?? i saw 2 small marks on the arm there thats also making contact with the "electrode"? when i took the plug out.
so far this is what i have done (in that order)...
cranked the engine trying to expell foreing object in cyl. and listened for wierd noises.
put diferent plugs and ran fine afterwards (20-30min run)
compresion on both cyl was fine (150psi each)
took the RAVE valve for that cyl out and didnt see any missing pisses or anything loose.
"crisso
That plug looks hit!.Wrong plug.Engine heads shaved,Crank stroked.Rave valves gone loose.Broken ring piece. Some thing loose has hit it and maybe shot out the exhaust port"
as far as i know its a stock engine from SBT that was running fine.
one thing i did notice was that the small hose on the exhaust, the 1 that vents to the ouside on the hull, right after the cylinders by the choke cable was pinched for that run.
man this worries me a lot and i'm going nuts trying to figure this out. thank you all!
edit---> also could the piston travel that far up to meet the plug like that? if it wasnt the piston then it was a pretty random hit by another object. weird thing is no rattles, vibrations or noises out of ordinary.
