USA RXP-X in europe

Hi, i am looking to buy a new rxp-x in the usa and ship it to the Netherlands.
I heard about some sort of gps blocker that makes sure the ski doesn't work in Europe.
Does anyone know something about that?

Never heard of that. Usually the US's restrictions are worse than the rest of the worlds.

So...that leaves the money. Is buying new in the Netherlands more expensive than buying in the US and shipping it there?

A new rxp-x is about 24.000 dollars over here. So shipping one is more than worth it.
Can't find anything on the Internet. But a local dealer over here told me about this restriction.
Maybe anyone else knows? And if so how to lose this restriction....

I've not heard of such a thing..

That said,, A GPS designed for the USA does not work in Europe unless it is specifically designed to do so. So,, there is a chance that the speedo does not work as it uses the GPS system.

He also probably told you that so you wouldn't buy one here and have it shipped to you.
Also another problem may be that dealers near you will refuse to work on ones that was bought/sold in the USA.

Now that I have heard of.. They will refuse to work on it. I think that is a stupid move as they can at least make money on you. But,,, it is their choice...

Another concern would the the warranty. Automobiles now come with a global warranty, I'm not so sure about watercraft. Just something you might want to check out.

The also GPS limits the top speed. You can get a "RIVA Sea-Doo Speed Control Override Module" to remove the speed limit function, maybe this would help?
