Hello all,
I've been reading through some of the modify postings and saw that someone called Dr. Honda does a real nice job at making new vinyl decals that look very close to the originals.

Is Dr. Honda still out there? Could he/she help me replace mine?

I want to strip them all off and get a complete gel coat make over. But I'm not willing to sacrifice my decals.

I inherited these two machines and brought them back to life a little at a time over the years. Now its time for the cosmetics but I can't find the decals anymore and not sure if I can repair all the stone chips in the gel coat with just gel coat patch kits. I think it would look very spotty.

These machines look like they were pulled down every dirt road from Michigan to Florida. They could be really nice looking if I could fix the gel coat.

The decals are all chipped up as well.

So if anyone knows if its possible to get custom decals made from a photo of the current ones I'd be grateful for some contact info of such a service.

Thanks all.

I would just leave the original decals and tape them off with blue painters tape and buff the gel coat. I'm just fore warning you, white gel coat is a royal paint to get white again.. This is not a 1/2 day project and you're done, if you want it done right. We're talking many hours to actually get it white again like it should be, wetsanding and wetsanding and buffing and polishing after that. Oh, and you're X2. Cause you just can't pretty up one. It's sorta opening Pandora's box, I just want you to be aware of this before you go into it.

As Nick mentioned, get a hold of Mike at pwcgraphics.com

Here's an original front lateral decal, Mike should be able to duplicate it and flip it for the left side

It take a bunch of dedication, but you can also trace the decals and ship them to Mike. Again, hours of work to get them duplicated.
