Just picked up a 2018 GTX 230 a couple of weeks ago, I went ahead and self installed the snap in fender brackets on my ski and was curious about sealing the lower side between the foot well and hull. When I drilled through for the bracket bolts, all went well but I noticed a bit of the gel coat flake off after the bolt was installed.
As you can see the picture, I believe that white to be fiberglass? Is this something I should look at sealing? If so, what are the recommendations? TIA.
