I live just outside the Kansas city area and I am going to bring my seadoo with me over spring break. We are going to sunny Florida. Now my question is about traveling through inclement weather. I keep my doo in a heated garage so there is no anti freeze in her. What would be the best thing to do here for the trip. If I put anti freeze in through ther flush port will it get to all the places it should be, and if that is a good spot to add it through, should I use a hose pincher on any hoses to keep it from draining out over the road? Any tips would be great.

Just to be safe I would winterize the ski. It's really easy to do, take the hose off the front inlet of the motor, blow through the hose to clear out any water in the engine. Pour antifreeze into the hose till it comes out the outlet hose at the rear of the engine, that's about it.

I would use RV antifreeze so you don't polute the water after you launch your ski.

There are threads about complete winterizing but I would think the above procedure would be sufficient.

Happy riding.

Lou
