Hi guys,
got a 97 xp
had a crazy bogging problem comes and goes as it like, rode it perfectly for about 30 mins then it started playing up, full throttle and it would barey do 5-10mph, wont really rev.
found originally the rear watebox hose clamp had snapped, so fixed that and done a service, ran great but still bogged at times, really annoying
so took it to my machanic and said rebuild the carbies, while there getting a solas and new wear ring.
i asked the machanic to check and change the grey fuel lines if neccessary.
visited the ski yesterday and he pulled of the selector valve along with inspecting the lines that go directly to the carbs the lines were clean az, and the makanic advised there is no need to change it as they look new inside.
spend a few hours today reading on the forum that they are a must, ive been trying to convince the machanic but he keeps telling its not neccessary.
i pick it up tommorow and will test it, but im sick of going out and comming back dissapointed.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks guys.
other then that everything has been cleaned and changed
eg new fuel filter, new selector, mesh under baffle cleaned, and now ofcourse rebuilt carbies.
im hopping this will fix the problem and i can start enjoying the ski
cheers
Zac
