My 2000 rx was not winterized and has been sitting in my garage for about 2 years. i put in a new battery and motor will not turn over. Took out spark plugs and sprayed some pb blaster into the cylinders and still nothing. I was thinking about pouring some marvels mystery oil in there to see if that helps. Is there any way to turn the crank manually? Any help would be appreaciated. This ski only has 70 hours on it . I would hate to think i have to replace the engine.!!! Thanks in advance for any advice you could offer!!!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

I assume that you have tried turning the motor over without the spark plugs.

Marvel mystery oil would be O.K., however if PB Blaster didn't work, I'm not sure that Marvel will work either.

You can try to turn the motor over by hand, pull the spark plugs, ground them on the clip on the front of the motor. Remove the cover on the PTO and try turning the PTO flywheel over by hand. If this works let us know.

marvel's oil works wornders. when i was younger, me and my dad freed up so many sezied car engines with it. but if you want that motor to last after you get it free, your looking at needing to do a top end at the least. put the MM in the plug holes and let it sit for about 2-3 days. if that doesn't free it, take the head off and pour some around the rings. if its still stuck after all that, we'll go from there lol
