I have a '94 seedoo xp and a 94' yamaha waverunner III. The yamaha is a much smoother ride.

My question is: Is this true of all seadoo/yamaha or is it just the models I own?

I'm looking to upgrade to something newer and I'm trying to figure out which brand to go with.

Thanks

You're comparing a Corvette to a Buick. The 94XP is a two seater that is built on the Seadoo X4 racing hull, its not going to be real stable at lower speeds, but its fast and highly manuveralbe.

The Yamaha is more like a cruiser (Buick), it would compare more to a SeaDoo GTI or GTX, bigger and more stable in the water, will hold more weight.

In my opinion when you compare model to model, at least in the 2 stroke, the SeaDoo are a little faster and handle a little better than the Yamaha. This being a SeaDoo forum my opinion is biased toward the SeaDoo.
