Seadoo trailer worth ???

hey everyone recently I totaled my 2005 seadoo challenger and the insurance company has paid me for the boat but the trailer is still mine. So the salvage company that is buying the boat offered me $500 cash for the trailer. I was wondering if its worth more money to sell out right or should i just sell it off to him for the $500? trailer is a 2005 caravan

It sounds like a very fair offer, you probably won't get much more selling it yourself, however if you are going to get another boat and the trailer is the correct size keep it.

Location plays a pretty good factor as well.

If you are in a heavy boating location the price will be lower as there are many to compare to and the price is almost always lower in a congested area. Same trailer up North brings more money.

I think the offer is fair as it is loaded up with goodies..

BTW, a boat trailer should go for more than $500, but where is Orchard park?

That's probably a fair price you'll definitely want to negotiate with them. Probably go back at around 750. I'd find one similar on Craigslist and use that selling price as ammo.

$500 seems extremely fair to me,,, I've sold two and got under $350 each time.
