Does anyone know any good(honest) shops in the inland empire. and or what a good price for repairing/rebuilding a supercharger in a 2003 gtx is?

Check on Craig's List, there are several guys that advertise their services in the IE. I talked to a couple of them and their rates varied substantially; one quoted $500 to rebuild four BN38 Carbs (92 & 93 GTX's) and the other was about $250 or $300. One of them, I recall his name was Tom or Tim, or maybe Tyrone, anyway the first letter of the guys name was a "T" and he worked out of his home or would do the work at you res. He lived in Yucapia, phone # (909) 478-2254.

Swabby SeaDooscipe and Timmyboy from the Forum gave me some good guidance so I decided to save the dollars and do the task myself. On the one hand, parts costs me less than $75.00, ($45.00 for Loctite 515; $7.00 for Loctitte 242; $5.00 in wrenches from the swap meet; and about $18.00 for a 'Penis" enlarger to do the pop off test)(That last part is no BS; at a garage sale I met a mechanic and he told me to go to a porno store and purchase a penis enlarger to do the pop off test-it worked, but was embarrssing going into the porn shop)

On the other hand, though, I spent three weekends on the Internet; cussing and yelling when I could not perform a simple task; and finally at least a tank of gas driving from store to store looking for parts and tools.

Timmyboy walked me through the process, so you may want to e-mail him for guidance. I think he has a Challenger just like you.

As I look back at the project, it was a PIA, but, now that I bought some junk wrenches from the swap-meet in Rubidoux and bent/welded them to fit the job, and a lot of time figuring out ways to do the job quicker, but efficiently, I did a carb job on Sunday for a friend and had it done in under two hours. She bought dinner but saved a few hundred bucks. (I should have asked for more)

Get a manual, some old rock n roll CD's, kick back and do it yourself. If you're going to have a toy, best learn to do some work yourself, rather than hauling your Doo to the River and it won't work.

By the way, I am trying to start up a PWC club here in the IE. Look at my post entitled "Riverside." If interested, give me a holler.

Stay away from Malcom-Smith in Riverside and Chapparel in Berdoo; high prices and not so good services.
