Heres my 2005 seadoo gtx wake. I wanted to do a system on it to have while hanging at the sand bars ... I saw a few post and put together a nice install in my mirrors. The longest part of the install was making the starboard cutouts and making them into a bracket so no screw holes were showing by the outside. Im very happy with the finishing product!. If anyone has any questions or help on doing one don't hesitate to message me. already took for a test drive and you can hear perfect while going 60+mph.

Theres no radio installed in the ski as i had no interest to play cds. I have and Aux adapter flush mounted inside the glove box with and on/off switch running straight to the amp. can play ipods, mp3 players, pandora etc

thanks for looking , let me know what ya think!

Very nice.

Have you ridden with it yet? I'd like a radio on my Genesis... but I think the ski would be louder than the radio.

Went on the water last weekend and it was great. you can hear it perfect full volume/full throttle. Since i have them facing the driver the sound travels towards you not away. some people like to cut into the hull and put 6.5 inch speaker coax but the sound is just traveling away from you and you run more of a risk of getting water to leak in your hull due time .

I'm thinking about doing the same thing but I have some questions.

I'm worried the system will draw too much power from my 2007 155 GTI SE;

1) how is your power setup for the amp/speakers and have you experienced any problems riding this season after the hookup?

2) Where did you get the starboard from and how did you manage to cut the mold so smoothly? (It looks professionally done)

3) I've heard a lot of people who went through the trouble not able to hear their speakers after 30-40mph. Our Seadoo PWC's are generally quieter machines than most but you must have bought a good set of speakers. Can you tell me the model and what you paid for them?

4) The speakers look a little small, how does the bass sound?

If you could let me know it would be a big help and nice work.

Amp powers just fine. Have it running straight to the batter with a fuse in line. I have an on/off switch in the center storage where I plug in the mp3 player so it does not consume the battery while parked or off.

You can get the starboard at any west marine or even lumber shops have some. Get at least 12x12 in case you mess up

I Cut out a template from paper of the hole where the mirror goes and then used a dremel to cut out the starboard and smooth the edges with the sander and polish tip that you can buy for the dremel.

Sounds fine after 40 but fades slightly away after 50' not much bass since they are only 3" speakers

They are ploy planar marine speakers best if purchased online cheaper

All in all I love it and it does the job at sandbars and with family to play some tunes and enjoy
