Good Morning,

I have a few questions that I hope a tech or someone else could answer. I have a 1996 Challenger and believe the "Fuel Baffle" (P/N 204560071) is the reason I am not getting any fuel to the engine. I cannot find an actual "fuel pump" in any of the drawings. I noticed in a video the baffle also has the float for the tank.

1. Does this assembly have the dual purpose as the actual fuel pump?
2. If so, how can I trigger it to verify that it is functional?
3. If not, what and where is the actual fuel pump?

Thank you so much

The fuel pump(s) are in the MAG side carb on each engine. (The 14' has one engine, the 18' has two engines)

But... for your Q's...

1) The fuel pick-up is JUST a pickup, and sender unit for the fuel gauge. (no pump)

2) No pump.... no trigger

3) Se above.

If it was my boat... and I new I wasn't getting any fuel to the carbs... I would start with looking for an air leak. Most likely spot is the fuel select valve. If the rubber seal gives up... you will draw air... and the carbs will never see fuel.
