Saltwater skis.

So I'm looking at getting an RXT 260 and I'm noticing that the prices on the east coast are substantially cheaper than where I'm at in Michigan. My question is would you steer away from a saltwater ski or does it not matter with these units being a closed loop cooling system?

Yes, steer away. Saltwater environments are hard on the entire ski. I see way more problems with the saltwater skis as far as electrical, steering and reverse cables, clamps breaking, and way more rust and corrosion everywhere.
