RXT supercharger gear is gone!!!

bought a 05 rxt just before summer last year with 70 hours on it. towards the end of summer it started losing revs. finally tore the SC out this past weekend and come to find out the gear and needle bearings on the shaft are gone! took the front oil seave apart to find 10 needle bearings and a bunch of filings from the gear, also some in the oil filter. need some advice, was told by the local mechanic that the whole motor would have to torn down. but i really don't want to pay for the 8 hours of pulling the motor plus whatever it's going to cost to clean it out. i only bought the ski for 5000. so my plan is to get a flexy magnet and stick it were i can and hopefully come out with the rest of the fillings. if it blows it blows and i buy a new motor. any other ideas to geting the thing cleaned out?

1st off a new motor is around $5000 used youll paid around $3000 SO fixing it right is the best way. To fix this problem right you will need to remove the motor and claen out all the oil passages and replace both oil pumps. If you dont want to pay someone to fix it then get a shop manual and dig in dont be afraid toget your hands dirty. If you still dont want to take it all apart then the next best thing would be to flush the oil system out replace both oil pumps and cross your finger you got all thoughs little almost invisible pieces out. If you dont replace the oil pump they could fail and starve the motor of oil witch will lead to a thrown rod through the block.
