Guys there is a guy on a local fourm that has a 07 Rxp with 20 hrs and a riva stage 3 kit. He wants 10,000 for it thats a deal.

My questions are they reliable with the stage 3 or r they work more than ride. I have heard that the stage 2 is the limit on reliability?????????

sounds like red flags to me... look at the cost of the kit, then add in the install price, and last the cost of the base 07 RXP ... and this guy only wants 10 grand ? then you bring up a very good point, long term reliability of the ski... I would say there is a whole lot of risk... but thats just me..

yep, 6000 for the kit and to be conservative 1500 for the install, I never looked at the stage 3 kit as a DIY'er.. That year ski is worth more than 3 grand. That’s why it would be a red flag for me.. It may be a good deal but then you have to add in that it had that kit in there and its prone to having the life sucked out of the engine... I’m just saying I would do a lot of testing and looking it over prior to plunking down 10 grand. It sounds almost too good to be true on the surface. It could turn out to be the deal of the century …

well right now i dont have a job to pay for it but am looking. He wont show any pics he just claims it is fastest on the east coast.

Yea thats what i am thinking he say is only have 20 hrs but who know he wont pm me back or send pics.

I do not no if this is the case but I see on craigslist that there are many BS adds. I believe that what they are trying to do is get as many email address as they can so that they can send spam or sales offers to you . People will go to great extents for the old mighty dollar.

He says he can get on it every weekend and ride it idk but i have heard of horror stories about the stage 3.

BS...

It's BS. Even the guys in that forum say so, or at least want to see the pix.

Usually, we do not allow hyperlinks from our forum to another. But, because it supports the argument, I'll leave it for a period of time that lets all who's posting on this thread, to read the responses........

But, yeah, ... Money wise, it doesn't add up.
