I bought a Schmaker 1.5A Maintainer, trickle charger, at Walmart $25.00, this is only a trickel charger. It comes with a pigtale that can stay permantely connected to the battery in your ski.
All I can say is Battery Tender!!! The best product out there. I use it for the skiis, lawn tractor, motorcycle and my car over the winter. A little expensive but well worth it.
Not trying to thread jack but can you have your battery tender connected while it is still hooked up in the ski or should you take the negative or negative and positive off while charging. I usually take the positive off but if I don’t have to I wont.

The battery tender comes with two connections. On is the alligator style clamps that plug into the tender. The other is the pig tail that you semi permanently attch to your battery terminals. So when you want to put it on the charger, you just plug in and let it charge. I have been using the battery tender for years on my Cycles, boats, and now PWC. They charge and sense when the battery is fully charged and then shuts itself off and monitors the battery for when it gets low then will come back on when needed.
Thank you for all the recommendations. The battery tender seems like what I need, that way I don't have to worry about doing anything, just plug in and let it do its thing.
I use a sears charger/maintainer. It works great. It comes with the clamps, bolt on wires, or 12 volt outlet plug. I wired a 12 volt plug into the rear storage area on my boat. It can charge through it and I also use it for power for a pump for inflatables. They run it for like $18 all the time.
