Installing a stereo in my 95 Speedster. I've seen on here that I can draw power "from any purple wire" under the hood. I assume that's the hot. What about the neutral? Any ideas?

Just to eliminate any noise caused from a bad ground, I always take audio system stuff back to the battery.

I have a 1997 challenger and I noticed that my red wire coming in wasn't hot. So I just tapped into the hot wire on the cigarette light/12v power outlet. Works fine.

On my 95 speedster under storage compartment were the switches are, there is a plug in there that is capped off. I tested it and its both power and ground switched by the ignition.
