Hey Everyone,
I've got a 98 seadoo speedster i am having a new issue with. I went to take the boat out this weekend, start the boat probably 5 times in my driveway before I left for the boat launch (5 mins away from my house). Get the boat launched and in the water, get a couple cranks and then nothing.
Its like the dess post went for a crap of the key isnt being recognized. I dont get the normal power up of the fuel gauge like I used to when I put the key on the post. I've checked all the fuses, they are good. The only fuse that doesn't give me power is the 5 amp fuse in the MPEM. That fuse isnt blown.
Checked the neutral safety switch, its working.
All my lights work, the bilge, blower, horn...etc.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Oh and I have a buzzer on order because I know mine is bad so at this time, I have no idea how many beeps I am getting when I but the key on the post.
