Hey everyone I was out riding my 2002 sea doo rx di today. While I was riding I was taking a turn and the power decreased dramatically like something was stuck in the impeller so I brought it back to shore and pulled this out anyone know what this ? A wear ring maybe ? I’m not the most mechanically inclined so any help is appreciated!

A wear ring maybe ? I’m not the most mechanically inclined so any help is appreciated!Also looks like there are some bits of fiberglass caught in the seal grooves ?

i would take out the pump assembly and check for damage. It looks like the inboard end of the wear ring.
Would running my machine with a broken or removed seal severely damage it ?

it will just decrease power. I would recommend getting a new wear ring because they aren't very expensive and easy enough to put in.
