Hi guys, I’m new to PWC’s so pardon my inexperience. Im attempting to fix up some 95 SP’s. They haven’t been taken out in about 6 years and there is oiled pooled in the haul. The oil tank is almost empty as well. Based on what I’ve read it seams like the grommet is bad on the tank but where the oil pooled seemed like it’d be coming from the pump. Any advice would help! I’ll attach a few pictures as well

Typically it's the grommets on the bottom of the oil tank but I have also seen a lot of the 12mm oil lines going into the lower crankcases leak also so check those.

The blue oil is wrong for those skis so replace with only API-TC rated oil and change the inline oil filter.

Also you have the bad gray fuel lines so you need to replace all of those and rebuild the carbs with only Genuine Mikuni parts and new needles and seats as well as the fuel selectors.

If it's been sitting for 6 years and it does have the gray fuel lines, absolutely yes.

I fought this on my 1995 SP several years back.

I kept reading oh, it's crank seals..not always! Here is what I replaced on mine:

1. Oil pump itself! The banjo fittings were letting oil flow, allowing oil to collect while it sits. It is more common than you think. Would fill up half the line in about a week (tested by replacing 3/32nd oil lines and leaving them empty for a few days).
2. Part #'s 293300023 and 290850160 which are both O rings.
3. Oil tank grommets. For a 95 SP they are part #'s 570135100 and 570273900.

Those 5 parts fixed my leak and I'm dry still. By no means am I saying this will fix your leak, but my symptoms were similar to yours.
