oil alarm

Can someone tell if there is a easy way to test oil alarm? I haven't heard anything, but would like to know it still works...thanks alot

On your engine... turn the key on... remove the cap on the top oil tank... and let the float dangle. It should trip the alarm. (DO NOT run the engine with the cap off)
