Ok, I am a rookie here on this site. Been a car/truck wrencher for 40+ years, and bought my first seadoo---96 GTX. It ran, but gas gauge not working, neither the speedometer. It still had grey fuel lines, so thats where I started. Tried to operate on the fuel sending unit, but no F1 fuse on this one, so purchased a new sending unit, and replaced all the fuel lines, and oil lines with a new inline oil filter. I cleaned the fuel switch, and put a new fuel filter on it. It war ok, but everyone on this site says to clean the carbs out, so I suppose that will be next on the list. I did put a new sealed battery in it, and cleaned the rave valves. I suppose the "top" printed on the rave valve means towards the carbs? thats how they came out. Cleaned the coil contacts on the cables, and solenoid eyelets. New plugs, and greased the zerc on the drive shaft. Any other suggestions before I take it out would be appreciated, as this seems like a great site for information.
