My gauges aren't working.

Hello. New guy here. I hope I'm in the right place. My 2002 gtx 4-tec gives me 2 short beeps then 2 long beeps and the red light next to the exclamation point symbol blinks but otherwise no lcd display. Any ideas?

I cant read my p code because my gauges arent working

It will do that whenever the display malfunctions or is disconnected. It sounds like your lcd display is bad, swap out a known good one test, they just pull out. I could hook it up to BUDS if you come to Ohio.

Ohio huh. I have been looking for an excuse to visit the guys at http://www.westside-barbell.com but thank you anyway. I have the storage cover pulled off and i've reconnected the gauge cluster. No obvious signs of corrosion or shorting. So I'm thinking I''ll test the wiring connectors between the cluster to the fuses with a voltmeter. If it turns out the gauges are toast I'll probably live with it due to the cost of replacing them. at least for this season.
