i got a 91 mazda miata, inline 4 cyl 1.6 liter 5speed manuel, my ski is a 97 seadoo xp, i see allot of people towing skis with small cars, its just that my car is extra small.. lmaoo.. suggestions??

I kinda doubt it, I just checked and couldn't find any information. Maybe contact the dealer and see what he says. I would think that you would need a minimum towing ability of 1000lbs. It's not only will the engine and transmission pull the ski but also handling and braking capabilities. Personally I wouldn't do it.

If you still have the owners manual for the car, look in it and see if it has a towing capacity, if not then ask a dealer or go online.

..........

:agree: with Lou.

Double trailer with 2 HXs.....

pulled by a 1986 Toyota MR2. :driving:

The suspension isn't meat to take the weight... but the vet does have 2 things going for it. 1) It has a full frame, 2) Has good brakes.

Also... I'm sure the trailer would have a surge brake being the boat is 20'.

BUT... if I dropped +$60k on a sports car... I wouldn't be F'ing it up by putting that much weight on it.
