I have a '92 XP that is in great shape with the exception of the ugly neon early '90's graphics and a faded lower hull (upper hull is white). Does anyone have any experience with sprucing up an old hull like this? Do I paint or is there a good way to just remove the decals?

I would pull the graphics and goggle graphic on the Internet and see what you find. Let us know what you wind up with.

I just spruced mine!

I took a hair dryer and heated the graphics up and pulled them off. I have the 96XP with the hot pink splashes all over it, and I HATED those stickers.

It took me about 2 hours to get them all off, but it looks 200% better!:hurray:

Definitely not so dated.

I have a guy trying to make me some black tiger stripes decals, but not sure how that is going to work out...

I tried to do it myself by going to the local graphic place, that makes signs, banners, and screenprinting, but after I cut my stripes out, I didn't know to use soapy water to apply the decals, and they went down all bumpy ugly, so I gave up and threw it all away.

I only paid $8 for 3'X9' sheet of black vinyl adhesive.

Cool

I bought the SPX for my son to use. He hates the graphics, so I think these will make it much less uncool!!
