how do i test gauges 97 gsx

need to test my gauges on my 97 gsx they will not power up
i tested the wires with my omn meter
all fuses are fine, it beeps two times and the gauges should come on for 33 sec from what i have read in other posts but my do not
just wounding if i could make it light up or turn on witch wires is the power one

Disconnect the power wires going to the gauge, and make sure you have power when you hook up the lanyard. Unfortunately... they are probably dead. SeaDoo gauges sometimes get water in them, and they die.

The best way to test a gauge, is to plug it into a different SeaDoo that is known to be working. I know that isn't always possible... but that's the best way

I have good used ones available if you need them...I would open up the hood or pop the gauge out and make sure there isnt a loose connector in there.

On all the gauges the purple wire is the power wire.

thanks i will take it to my buddys house and plug it into his seadoo thanks guys

Also check the connector from the gauge to the MPEM...if water gets in there a lot of times the + pins will corrode and rot off.
