I just purchased a 06 sportster and finally got the cover, the problem is the poles that came with are broke and I'm hoping someone can tell me where they go, I know one says front and the other says rear but where in the boat do the go and does the rubber end go up or the plastic end. Thanks!

ok with your cover.. the rubber boots are going to down to the floor, with the flat plastic supporting the cover... your straps should attach to the cleats and hold the poles in place...
You will put the cover on from the nose of the boat to the rear.. you want the cover to crown in the middle to avoid pooling... other then that its pretty straight forward...

When trailering, always use your cover, better mpg, and all round safer! just be sure to tighten the cover with the ratchet straps and keep and eye for it peeling off from the rear from time to time.

straps

ARe there suppose to be 2 straps per pole to reach accros to the cleats? Mine only has 1 strap on each pole.

mmmm awkward... I have 2 straps per pole granted i have a 2000 speedster.. but in order for the poles to stay centered and supported they need 2 mounting points to stabilize the pole..

Pictures are worth a thousand words.... Can you post some up
