I went to go on the lake and it wouldn't start - flat battery. I mananged to jump start if briefly by the truck battery, however it will not now run. It has a fully charged battery, wet plugs and both plugs spark but it will not start! It's driving me mad, please help!!

you may have fried your MPEM, you should never jump start a seadoo with a running car. do a search on this topic.

When I find the MPEM I'll try and check it somehow. I've already check all the fuses which are good and all the gauges work??

theres fuses on the mpem. Remove the storage bin, you'll see the mpem to top/left side of hull, where all the wires plug into. Check those fuses. Also, at back of ski, you'll see a black box, open that up, and check the fuse in there too.

Thanks, I 've done that and all the fuses seem OK in both areas. I put some gas into the 2 cylinder heads and it started for a few seconds. On the MPEM I saw a grey button on the far left connector and I pushed that back in again. Is there anything else to do before I try and get another MPEM. See the type below.

if it started when putting gas in the cylinders, then the MPEM is probably fine. check your spark, check your compression, check to make sure it's getting fuel.

there's no button on the MPEM, I think you are referring to an empty wire plug spot in the harness.

Thanks, the plugs are wet but I guess they could look at bit wetter. Where would be blockage or the most obvious problem are to look at first on the fuel line. The gas is turned on.

pull a spark plug out, and hit start button, see if theres spark. Forum will go from there.

That's done and they both spark when I hit the start button, does this mean the MPEM is OK? I seem to think it could be a coincidental fuel problem??

If you have spark and compresion and fuel it should run....How wet are the plugs? Sounds like it is flooded. How old is the gas?

I'll take a pic of the plugs and post it, they are wet but maybe not wet enough. I don't think it's flooded as I've tried all the remedies for that. The fuel is new I even topped it up last Sunday. The mad thing is, I started it for a few seconds last night and it fired up when I first jump started it again for a few seconds.
