I respectfully disagree, I havent seen more than 10 sold all year last year and most went in the $400 range on those. Plus, these will be a bit beef-ier and will be new. I just dont see anyone building a large lot of them. Always talk about Hot Products doing it but if they do I bet they are in the $600 range too. Tooling is expensive. Time is expensive. I dont gotta tell you about that Dan.
We just have to face the fact they are locked up on all our rec skis and not moving around anymore. They are also breaking, seizing, etc.
I know if I was building a super mint machine up I wouldnt hesitate to spend $600 on a brand new mint one. Sure its not for everyone, but as I said its only getting harder to find these parts and the prices keep rising.
Chris had such a huge lot of those steering that it really flooded the market. Plus, they were not the most ideal ones. The one I bought had the non solid bracket that snaps fairly easy.
My buddy Jackson built those HX UMI last summer and sold 10 of them for over $500. Yeah it took all summer, but they are all gone.
