Hey Doc why do you suppose the rod bearing locked up to begin with? Brock I would imagine the only way to get to that wrist pin is to open the block.

Until he opens it... who knows. BUT... I've seen this one a bunch of times. The ski get's swamped, and wont' restart. Then... it gets parked. What that happens, the rods, and crank rust solid.

I am in madison heights and have a good crank out of a 95xp Let me know if you are interested. I can send you pictures.

Brock Great find.....isn't this the second "good deal" ski you've found? I remember something about coming back from A2 and you found a different sucker....i mean seller.

wow! 250$ that is the deal of the century! i don't know where you can find that around here..... let alone with the trailer included.. great find sir... enjoy every penny of it as I'm sure you will! just to add another to your collection!

WELL.......... i tore the engine down only to find that the crank is not rusted nor is anything else....... i also noticed that on the side that the rod locked up on there is a bunch of scratches on the piston and a little scoring on the cylinder..... BUT the rings are just fine so im kinda confused here and to why the bearing locked up only on one side......... good news is everything else work=s great...........kinda funny but the girlfriend was wanting to learn so she was watching and when the cylinders were off the pistons were just sitting there and i accidently hit the start button and she about shat herself........ AT LEAST I KNOW THE STARTER WORKS AND THE CRANK AINT BROKE LOL HAHAHAHA

hmmmmmmmmm i have no idea where that is but if i find it im goin on a road trip...... sounds kinda wiered though

Thats what im saying!!!LOL sounds like somewhat of a (i know whats wrong but gonna play dumb) kinda deal
